This past weekend I went back to Houston in celebration of my friend Jordan's (now Mrs. Whitehead) wedding! What a great way to spend one of my last weekends in
the United States before I head off to Lesotho.
It was a weekend of laughs, good food, and awful humidity. (Don't miss that)
I was reminded how much I love all my Rice Soccer girls
and how much I will truly miss each and everyone of them.
My friend Elizabeth, a true global health advocate, came back the night before the wedding from Malawi.
Between getting ready for Medical School at UCSF and being an all around ROCKSTAR, she was willing to sit down and answer all of my 100 annoying questions.
She calmed my nerves, which got me prepared and PUMPED for my trip!
Don't know what I would do without her support and advice on my upcoming adventure.
She is a true inspiration.
